Review: Kobe BonCabe

Holla!

As an Indonesian, I totally loooovvveeee spicy foods! It feels like eating tofu without seasonings if I eat without condiment or Indonesian call it sambal. To make sambal I usually need many ingredients like onion, garlic, terasi and of course chili, and it needs my power or energy to mixture and to blend them.

But, no need to bother myself anymore because I have this Kobe Boncabe =D This sambal packed in a powder form and I usually pour it on rice, meatball or any foods that I eat. As simple as that =D

BonCabe has 4 levels of spiciness:

  • First is Level 2, we have Dried Shrimp or we call it in Indonesia, Ebi flavor

  • Second is Level 3, we have Anchovy flavor

  • Third is Level 10 we have Original Spicy flavor

  • And the last we have Level 4 which is also Original Spicy flavor

I got information about BonCabe from my friend Karin who tweeted about this product six months ago and I directly bought this product after she explained to me how does it taste. Since then BonCabe being one of my favorite food products up until now, moreover this product is truly affordable! (I bought this only for Rp 9.500) My favorite is the Original Spicy flavor Level 10, for me it has an average flavor of spicy, I mean it is not too spicy but enough. If I go overseas, I'm sure I will put this BonCabe in my suitcase =B

If you are interested in this product you can check the website here. =)

Let's take a look at the packaging! =D

This is my BonCabe Level 10, delicioouuusss =9
The cover of the jar has four different styles and functions, this one is to close the jar and prevent  BonCabe from scattered.
Twist the cover then you will find this wide cover, the function is to pour BonCabe in a big amount.
This dots cover's function is to sprinkle you BonCabe on your foods.
This white cover is to protect BonCabe from contamination. Don't forget to peel it of to enjoy BonCabe =D
Texture of BonCabe. It's like a chili powder isn't it?
*sorry for blur image =(*

    1. Hai Salim! Thank you for visiting and reading my blog :) Unfortunately I don't know whether Boncabe is sold in Australia or not, I'm sorry :( Actually here in Indonesia I can find this stuff in several stores only. Maybe you can ask your friend if s/he come from Indonesia to buy you this. Be careful if you want to try level 15 because you'll feel your lung is burned :) Best regards, Eschilla.
